His father, Charles,〔''Bishop Abraham Memorial '' The TimesTuesday, Mar 31, 1903; pg. 15; Issue 37042; col B〕 and his son, Philip,〔''Obituary-The Bishop Of Newfoundland Right Rev. P. S. Abraham'' The Times Saturday, Dec 24, 1955; pg. 9; Issue 53412; col A〕 were also bishops; another son, Geoffrey, was killed in action during the First World War.〔(Bakewell Roll of Honour )〕 After retiring, a cousin bequeathed Little Moreton Hall in Congleton to him.〔(Bequeathed “Crooked House” )〕 He died on 27 January 1945.
